Denmark Day 2: Copenhagen Bike Tour – April 3rd

Writer: Meg Meg

Anna and I woke up early to head to brunch. Isa had not slept at the hotel that night, so we just headed out for the day without her. After brunch, we headed towards the city center to meet with a tour. On the way to meet the tour, we found trampolines built into the street. I felt like a kid all over again. We jumped around until we had to head to the meeting spot. The tour was a bike rental and a tour guide for the city. We first biked along the main street of Nyhavn. It felt surreal. After we biked to the Kings Garden, the little mermaid statute, the Gefion fountain, and the queen's palace. After the slightly cold bike tour, we headed to a restaurant. Thank goodness we did the bike tour this day as it was going to be the only sunny day. On the way to find a place to eat, I found a crepe stand so we stopped. After a bit of walking, we found a lunch spot on the Nyhavn strip then headed back to Zleep (we liked to be very dramatic when we said it – Z-z-z-z-z-leep). We relaxed for a bit before going to bed. We meant to go out to dinner but we never moved. I have started reading before bed every night to help me fall asleep - never thought that would happen!
