Gozo Jeep Tour

Woke up so early to meet our bus driver. We drove about 45 minutes to the north side of the island to get a ferry to Gozo. On the way, we stopped at Popeyes village. The ferry was completely SAS students, kinda funny. Anyways, once we arrived in Gozo, we found our tour guide for the day and headed out.

We started by heading to an overlook area of Mgarr Harbour and then headed inland towards Nadur. Malta has beautiful rolling hills all over the countryside. After a quick stop, we headed to a beautiful cave that overlooked a beach in Ramla Bay. We then headed towards the restaurant we are eating lunch at. We stopped a beautiful place, where our tour guide walks her dog, called Sanap Cliffs. We took some pictures then headed to lunch.

After lunch, we had some amazing crepes before getting back into the jeep. We headed the blue grotto (different from the blue lagoon). We took a little boat under and through the caves. It was kinda scary with the extreme waves but the caves on the island are so cool. We then headed to Dwejra Bay, which is this beautiful naturally-made tide pool that you can swim and snorkel in. But we didn't swim today because we didn't have suits.

After the bay, we drove by the third largest church in the world. The church was very pretty. After the quick stop for photos, we headed to the salt pans. The pans have very cool history dating back to 500 years ago. Most are still owned by the original families.

We then headed back to mainland Malta on the ferry. On the way, back they took us through the blue lagoon again before arriving back to our taxi. We got dropped off right at the cruise terminal on the way back. We ran inside to change really quick for dinner before heading to our dinner reservations.

The dinner reservation had some really fancy drink options that were fun to order. The dinner was pretty good, but I haven’t been too impressed with the food yet in Malta. Anyways, after dinner, we got more crepe’s on the way back to the boat. Later, we got really lazy and didn’t even make it back to a bar.
