Paris Day #1

After an eventful car ride, we safely made it to the hotel. Sydney and I then set off to explore. We started our self-made walking tour at the Effie Tower. I’m weird and have always wanted to eat a baguette on the grassy lawn in front on the tower, so you already know that the first thing we did was find a bakery. We found a very cute local bread shop, but the locals did not like Syd and I to say the least. After eating our amazing French bread, we set out to the Arc de Triomphe. We walked back streets to end at what I like to consider the center of Paris, the Arc de Triomphe. It was fun to see the local culture and homes, not just the tourist traps. After viewing the Arc de Triomphe, we set back to the hotel for check in. We both took quick naps then went off for dinner. We found another fun local restaurant that had crepes which was our dinner! Then we walked back to the hotel along the river front to see the Effie Tower one more time before we settled in for an early night.
