Woke up way to early this morning, was up and on the bus by 4:35 am. It did not feel good, I just about threw up on the bus ride to Stella’s village. I slept most of the way, which usually doesn’t happen, and that helped a lot. We got to Stella’s village 3 hours later. She then showed us around her home, she was so excited to show us. Her village she now lives in is very far out from town, mostly just grass lands. Her house was the only house made out of stone in her village. She had also built a chicken coop, dog cage, movie theater area, and a small garden. She had a self-sufficient home. After we walked around and in her little home we headed off to see her new land that hopefully she can farm in later. To get to her farm land we had to walk through the long grass and weeds, I was very scared that I would she a black mamba, as this is where they live... we did not see any snakes though, thank god. After walking back we quickly changed into soccer clothing. Stella has started a soccer team in her village and she really wanted us to play them. None of us wanted to play at all, but we did. When we walked up to the field their was probably 40 people just ready to watch the match, slowly the crowed just gained people. The boys wanted to play 11 vs 11, we only had 6 soccer players. Amanda, Julie, Stella’s husband, and Brandon all had to play. Sadly we lost, and badly, but Stella and the village where so happy that we played. I think by the end of the game we had at least 100 people watching. We basically ran back to the bus as it was 12:30 and we where supposed to leave Stella’s but 12. We got out of their by 1 pm and set off for another long bus ride to a hotel near the safari. I really had to go to the bathroom on the ride so we had to stop at a gas station, the bathroom was a whole in the group, it was not easy to hit the whole let me tell you. We later arrived at the hotel around 4 pm, found our rooms and eat dinner. Everyone was in their rooms very early as we woke up way too early this morning.
